Pigs Can Fly Pork Chops

 

Prosciutto, Pear and Blue Cheese Sandwiches with Wicked Good Pear Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients:

8 Slices of Multigrain Bread

1 tablespoon of butter

3 cups of Arugula

1 medium shallot, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

4 teaspoons of Wicked Good Spices Pear Balsamic Vinegar

1/4 tsp of black pepper

4 ounces of thinly sliced prosciutto

1 pear, cored and thinly sliced

 4 ounces of blue cheese, sliced


Instructions:

Arrange Bread in a single layer on a baking sheet, broil 3 minutes or until toasted.

Turn bread slices over and spread butter evenly over bread slices.broil an additional two minutes or until toasted.


Combine arugula and shallot in a bowl, add oil and Pear vinegar and sprinkle with pepper.

divide arugula between 4 slices of bread

Divide pears and cheese evenly among the sandwiches and top each sandwich with a slice of bread.

 Serve immediately and enjoy!





Pork chops with Sauteed Spinach and garlic and Pear Balsamic vinegar

 Ingredients:

4 Bone in pork chops, about 8 oz each

4 tbsp of olive oil

2 tbps of honey ( I always use Green Goddess Honey)

1 tbsp of butter

2 pears, cut up into 1/2" cubes

1/3 cup of Wicked Good Spices Pear Balsamic vinegar

4 cloves of garlic, sliced into thin slices

12 ounces of Fresh baby spinach

2 tbsp of chopped up lemon thyme

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Place 2 tbps of olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium to high heat and add pork chops and cook for 5 minutes on each side until cooked thru.

Remove chops to a plate and cover with foil.


Turn the heat to medium and add the butter, pears and honey. Saute' for 5 minutes until soft. Transfer to a bowl.


Place remaining 2 tbsp of oil to the pan over medium heat and add clove of garlic and saute' until garlic is lightly brown.  Turn up the heat and add the spinach. Cook just until the spinach wilts


Place spinach on plates, place a pork chop on top and spoon the pear mixture on top of the chops.





Wicked Good Spice Mixes Cherry Balsamic Vinegar Pork Chops

Ingredients:
4 large Pork chops, bone in
4 tbsp of butter
2 shallots, minced
1 cup of frozen, pitted cherries
1 cup of vegetable broth
4 tablespoons of Wicked Good Cherry Balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Place 2 tbsp of butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook them for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown or to aan internal temp of 160.
Remove the pork chops to a plate and cover with foil.
Add remaining butter and the shallots to the skillet. Saute' the shallot for 2-3 minutes and then add the cherries,broth and cherry balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper.
Simmer the sauce for about 8-10 minutes until it thickens.
Put chops on serving plates, spoon sauce over them and serve with cauliflower rice or white rice and a mixed green salad

Wicked Good Chocolate Balsamic and Blue Cheese Fillet

Ingredients:

4 8oz tender loin steaks, cut 1 inch thick

2 tsp of cracked black pepper

kosher salt

1 cup of crumbled blue cheese

1/4 cup of good extra virgin olive oil

1/3 cup of Wicked Good Spice Mixes Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar

2 tbsp of butter


Instructions:

Rub salt and pepper on steaks to season

Grill or broil in oven to desired doneness

Sprinkle blue cheese on steaks during last 3 minutes of cooking

Heat balsamic vinegar with butter until well blended.

Put steak on serving plates and drizzle with Balsamic vinegar mixture and serve.

 Goes great with a green mixed salad

Wicked Good Spice Mixes Mushroom stuffed Cheese Burgers

This is a recipe my Mom used to make and we all loved it!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Ground Beef

10 ozs of mushrooms, cleaned and sliced

2 tbsp of olive oil

2 tbsp of butter

2 tbsp of Wicked Good Garlic Explosion

4 slices of American cheese

salt and pepper

4 split hamburger buns

lettuce leafs, sliced red onion,sliced tomato, for topping

Pickles for serving


Instructions:

Put butter in a small skillet over medium heat and add the mushrooms and the "Garlic Explosion"Saute for 10 minutes until soft.

Let the mushrooms cool.

Separate the meat into 4 equal portions.

Put about 1 tbsp of  mushrooms onto top of each burger and mold the meat around the mushrooms so they are inside each burger.

 Season each burger with salt and pepper

In a medium size pan, add olive oil on a medium -high heat.

Add the patties and cook until browned on the bottom, about 4 minutes. Flip patties and top with cheese; cook 4 to 5 minutes.


Toast the buns and spread with ketchup. Fill each bun with a burger, lettuce, tomato and red onion.


Serve with pickles and coleslaw.


Wicked Good Spices Onion Bacon Blue Cheese Burgers

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Ground Beef or  ground turkey

2 tbsp of olive oil

4 tbsp of Wicked Good Spices "The Onion"

1/2 cup of Blue Cheese Crumbles

8 Slices of Bacon, cooked

salt and pepper

4 split hamburger buns

lettuce leafs,sliced tomato, for topping


Instructions:


Place ground beef or ground turkey in a mixing bowl; add salt and pepper and "The Onion" Spice blend and mix well.

Separate into 4 hamburgers.


In a cast iron skillet, place oil over a medium-high heat.and add hamburgers. Cook about 4 minutes until browned on one side.

Flip the burgers and cook another 5 minutes. Put the blue cheese on top of each burger during the last minute of cooking

When burgers are done, place them on the buns, top with bacon, lettuce and tomato.

{If you are going carb-free, place burgers on romaine lettuce leaves}



Wicked Good Spices Italian Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

1 3/4 lbs of ground turkey

4 tbsp of "Garlic Explosion"

4 tbsp of "Tuscan Bistro"

3 tbsp of "Basil Olive Oil"

1/2 lb of fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into 4 slices

8 fresh basil leaves

2 tbsp of Wicked Good Spice "Organic Balsamic Vinegar"

4 split hamburger buns

Instructions:

In a medium mixing bowl, mix ground turkey, 4 tbsp of "garlic explosion"and 4 tbsp of "Tuscan Bistro"and shape into 4 burgers.

Put 3 tbsp of Wicked Good "Basil Olive oil" in a large skillet ever medium to high heat. Add the burgers and cook for about 4 minutes until one side is browned.

 Flip the burgers and cook for another 5 minutes and place 1 slice of fresh mozzarella on each burger and two fresh basil leaves and place on hamburger buns.

Drizzle a little of the "Organic Balsamic Vinegar" on top of each burger and serve! Yummy!
